Topics we welcome

Pitch a focused idea about garden layout, plant choices, soil, routine care or reuse. Strong proposals answer a real reader question, explain why the subject matters and show what a reader could understand or do after reading.

What makes a good pitch

Include a working headline, a short outline, the intended reader and the main points you would cover. Explain any relevant experience without implying credentials you do not hold. We favour original, specific work that avoids unsupported claims, unnecessary product lists and advice that requires specialist assessment.

Before you send

Please send a proposal rather than a finished article unless we have requested one. Do not submit material that has been published elsewhere or that relies on another publisher's text or images. Sending a pitch does not guarantee publication.
